Do I have to select the region/country I reside in for the Coding Kickstarter?

Our Coding Kickstarter classes are usually connected to a region, such as East Midlands, London, or Yorkshire and the Humber. This article should help explain why this matters, and what to do if your region isn't available.

Can I apply for any region?

We ask that all applicants please apply for the region they currently reside in. This is because the companies that sponsor the classes and make it possible for us to deliver classes for free usually allocate funding to specific regions. For example, a Welsh company would be more likely to sponsor classes in Wales, so that in the future they may have an incredible pool of Welsh tech talent.

It also allows us to keep track of which areas are most popular! If we are receiving an excess of applications in one region and classes keep hitting capacity, this means we can show the high demand to potential sponsors and they will be more likely to put funding into your region.

My region isn't available

If your region is not currently available please check back weekly as the team updates the website with new classes regularly – you can also apply for ALL UK classes if you reside in the UK.

I'm an international student, what do I do?

We also regularly run international classes. These can either be country-specific or just labelled as ALL INTERNATIONAL. These courses are very popular and they are taken down from the website when they hit capacity. Please keep checking, as we update the website weekly. Make sure to carefully check the country before you apply to any classes.

If you are a current student on one of our courses, please refer to your class Slack channel to ask our Programmes team or your instructor for support. If you need help with general queries, you can contact our Community Support team via our contact form below! ⬇️
